The Advisory Consultation™ is the flagship tool of Phase 1. It takes a question or business challenge you are facing, routes it through multiple advisory perspectives, and returns a structured response that covers different angles of the problem — financial, operational, patient-facing, team-related, and strategic.
The quality of your output depends heavily on how you frame your question. This guide shows you exactly how to do that, from opening the tool to reviewing the results.
From your dashboard, click the Advisory Consultation™ card. The tool opens with a text area prompting you to describe the decision or challenge you are facing.
This is the most important step. Vague inputs produce vague outputs. Use this formula: Situation + Decision + Context.
Example (weak): “Should I hire someone?”
Example (strong): “I am a solo OD with 1,800 active patients. I have been seeing 18–20 patients per day and turning away 4–6 per week due to capacity. I am considering hiring a part-time associate OD at $85/hour for 2 days per week. What are the key financial and operational factors I should evaluate before making this decision?”
After entering your question, select 2–4 perspectives most relevant to your situation. For a staffing decision, you might select: Financial Analyst, Operations Advisor, Human Resources Consultant, and Practice Growth Strategist.
Click Run Consultation. The system processes your input and returns a structured response, typically within 15–30 seconds. Each perspective appears as a separate labeled section.
Read each perspective section completely before forming a conclusion. The value of the Advisory Consultation™ is in the tension between perspectives — one may highlight an opportunity while another flags a risk you had not considered.
Use the Save to History button to store this consultation in your account. You can also copy the output to your notes or paste it into a team agenda.
